Community Overview¶
The NANDA community is composed of researchers, software engineers, public policy specialists, and students collaborating on open-source autonomous agent architectures.
Structure of the Community¶
Working Groups¶
Working groups focus on core technical and policy domain areas: - Protocol Engineering: Mesh synchronization, gossip protocols, and network topology. - Safety and Alignment: Formal methods, cryptographic action verification, and threat modeling. - Civic Applications: Municipal workflows, vernacular language datasets, and field deployment logistics.
Regional Chapters¶
Local chapters operate in various regions to organize technical meetups, localized data collection, and university partnerships. See Global Chapters for regional contact points.
Academic and Student Fellowships¶
The Youth Chapter coordinates student research fellowships, compute grants, and mentorship programs with senior contributors.
Communication Channels¶
- Developer Forum & RFCs: Hosted on GitHub Discussions for architectural change proposals.
- Community Meetings: Bi-weekly technical working sessions held every alternate Thursday at 17:00 UTC.
- Documentation Contributions: Community members can submit improvements directly to the documentation repository.
