Start a Chapter!¶
A chapter is the local node of a single global network. It is not a franchise and not a separate project.
Local chapters serve as interconnected nodes in a worldwide network, building on Project NANDA's vision to architect the open agentic web in the local environment through meetups, open-source work, startup and university connections, and policy conversations.
Chapters promote the same open-source projects and shared technologies without inventing an isolated local stack. A chapter maintains an active public presence, stays closely connected to other chapters across the globe, and ensures that all public material it produces remains open and hosted by FAN.
Project NANDA Innovation Council¶
The Innovation Council constitutes the leadership core of a local chapter.
Council leaders run the chapter, while council members collaborate actively with them. Together, they are the individuals who keep the local group tied to the broader global network: convening community events, driving open-source development, engaging startups and research universities, and stewarding the local side of public policy.
If you want to start a chapter in a city that is not currently listed below, you register for the Innovation Council first. That formal registration is what officially charters the new group as an authorized chapter of Project NANDA.
To register, email contact@projectnanda.org.

How to Start a Chapter¶
Ready to bring Project NANDA to your metropolitan area? Follow this sequential process:
